Drumderg is located in Perthshire, Scotland, approximately 5km to the north east of Bridge of Cally and around 10km to the north west of Alyth.

The wind farm is situated on Drumderg hill, on the site of a World War II artillery firing range. Prior to construction, detailed studies and non-intrusive surveys had to be undertaken to ensure that the site was safe and clear of unexploded shells.

Drumderg is 100% owned and operated by SSE Renewables.
