Delivering a 1.1GW pipeline of secured onshore projects
Our 1.1GW secured pipeline of onshore wind development projects in Spain is the largest such platform in our Southern European development portfolio, of which 281MW is in late-stage development. Our project portfolio includes onshore wind and solar projects at development site locations in La Rioja, Castilla y Leon, Aragón, Cataluña and Andalucía.
We’re progressing plans to begin construction in 2023 of our first renewable energy project in Spain, a 69MW onshore wind development in La Rioja which is targeting commercial delivery in 2025.
We’ve also entered into an agreement with Acciona Energia to pursue new offshore wind energy opportunities in Spain.
