Yellow River Wind Farm is a 29-turbine wind farm development in central Ireland with an installed capacity in excess of 101MW.

We began construction on the wind farm in October 2022 and is expected to be fully commissioned in early 2025. The project is expected to support up to 150 full-time construction jobs at peak delivery.

The first wind turbine was installed in January 2024.

Once completed, the windfarm will be capable of generating enough green energy to power over ^66,000 homes and offset 66,000 metric tonnes of carbon annually. This will help Ireland meet its target of 80% renewable energy by 2030, as set out under the Climate Action Plan of 2021.
