Virtual exhibition for Bhlaraidh Extension to take place

22 Feb 2021

A virtual exhibition will take place from 24-26 February to provide information on SSE Renewables’ proposal for Bhlaraidh Extension wind farm.

Members of the public are invited to join an online exhibition space which will display the latest information on the proposed development, which is situated on a site to the east of the operational Bhlaraidh wind farm on Glenmoriston Estate near Invermoriston.

The virtual exhibition will feature the latest information on the Bhlairaidh Extension proposal and provide a chance for visitors to take part in live chat sessions with members of the project team from 2-4pm on each day of the event. There will also be an opportunity to provide feedback via email.

Craig Cunningham, project manager for the Bhlaraidh Extension wind farm, said:

“At this stage in a proposed development, we would usually host a series of exhibition at local community venues.

“Unfortunately, restrictions on public gatherings due to the Covid-19 pandemic will prevent us from doing so. We believe this virtual exhibition will give people the same opportunities to discover more about the Bhlaraidh Extension proposal, and talk to members of the team, in a different way.”

The virtual exhibition website will go live at noon on Wednesday 24 February remain available to view until Friday 12 March.

Anyone interested will have the opportunity to take part  in live chat sessions with members of the Bhlaraidh Extension project team. These will take place on 24, 25 and 26 February from 2-4pm each day.
